Bio
Ari Eryorulmaz is a seasoned entrepreneur and operator in the short-term rental (STR) industry with over 15 years of experience. He entered the space in 2009 as a property manager while studying at USC and went on to found his first vacation rental company in 2010. Over the next decade, he helped scale multiple STR startups across the U.S. to more than 300 units.
In 2021, Ari founded Extenteam, a global staffing and software solutions company dedicated to solving operational challenges for STR operators. Today, Extenteam supports more than 200 businesses with a team of 400+ hospitality-trained professionals worldwide. Its SaaS product, Tailwind, provides 24/7 guest communication support, helping property managers improve efficiency, boost guest satisfaction, and drive direct bookings.
Ari has been a featured speaker at VRMA National and European conferences and previously served on the HomeAway Software (Expedia Group) Advisory Board. His unique background – spanning both hands-on operations and high-growth entrepreneurship – gives him a deep perspective on the evolving needs of vacation rental professionals. He continues to lead Extenteam in its mission to empower STR operators with scalable, tech-enabled solutions for sustainable growth.
